Autograph letter signed from Frederic Robinson, New York, to Augustus Toedteberg [manuscript], 1888 February 28.

Robinson mentions that he was the only man to play Iago to Phelps' Othello in Berlin. Also mentions other Shakespearean roles he played: Edgar in King Lear, Macduff in Macbeth, Ford in Merry wives of Windsor, Hotspur in Henry IV, Part 1, Bassanio in Merchant of Venice, and Laertes in Hamlet.
